Solhem Sauna LLC was founded in 1986 by South Duxbury resident, Nils Shenholm. Nils
was a Duxbury Land Trust board member for a number of years and coordinated Duxbury’s Green Up Day for the Trust for 14 years.

While his preferred approach is to continue the Finnish tradition of sauna as a free-standing structure, he can adapt the sauna to accommodate individual preferences and does many modern indoor stove rooms as well.
