WINTER WALK
Join us on a Winter Walk! Celebrating 30 Years of Land Conservation in Duxbury, Vermont
Saturday, March 15, 1-3pm, Mountain trail snowshoe hike with Duxbury Land Trust Trustee Peter Mandych.
Join Peter for a snowshoe hike through the forest, starting from the top of Ward Hill Road in South Duxbury. Peter will guide you along the trail, noting various features along the way, culminating in a lovely view of the Mad River Valley! Snowshoes will be provided on request, or bring your own. These trails are considered moderate and all experience levels are welcome. Meet in the parking area at the end of Ward Hill Road in South Duxbury by 1:00 pm. The parking area is approximately 3 miles up Ward Hill Road from Route 100 (please do not park in the plow turnaround, continue to the lot in front of the gate). Register online no later than Thursday, March 13th.
